Julia is Prime Minister!
Both my daughters raced upstairs last night when they saw that there was going to be a leadership #spill and that we could have a female Prime Minister on TV. They are 11 & 8. They were both beaming this morning. A woman can finally be Prime Minister. The possibilities for them now seem even brighter! Irrespective of the arguments, she now represents us. We are proud! This morning as I did my usual rounds in my country town there was much discussion and joy amidst the general community in shops and the supermarket. There will all always be the “bahumbug” oldies that don’t reckon she can do it. They are forgetting she is and has just done it. The times have changed even more….thank goodness!! Go sister!!
